Born 1953, Brescia – Italy
Lives in Cairns, Australia since 1996.
Gianni always had a strong talent for creative work and artistic sketching but did not have the possibility to follow his passion in full until he moved
to Australia in 1996.
Once settled in the new environment, Gianni re-started his life on a new path, finally finding the way to express his natural inclination.
He brushed-off and refined his knowledge and techniques (originally absorbed from his father – a boilermaker) and applying it to his artistic spirit, Gianni started to produce Artistic Metal Work and Sculptures.
In 2005 he became part of the local Art Community as Metal Sculptor and has been present in various Exhibitions in the Cairns Region and Townsville.
Gianni works mainly with steel, stainless steel, copper and brass.
The main characteristics of Gianni's work are the smooth flowing lines, the care for details, the contemporary use of paint and the abstract interpretation of life around him.
